Deer Hill Music produces and markets recordings by select authors and musical artists. 

Its founder, Chris Long is an accomplished executive, producer, and publisher responsible for award winning Gospel, Jazz, and Latin music and video productions.  

Born in New England, he grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area where he found his first label job with Concord Records, becoming the label’s Vice President and General Manager while still in his mid 20’s.  He also served as Senior Vice President of Records and Publishing for Integrity Music, and President of Monarch Records, among other music related assignments.

He  worked closely with gospel artists Fred Hammond, T.D. Jakes, Hillsong, and Sandi Patty, pop vocalists Oleta Adams, Janis Siegel (Manhattan Transfer), and Rosemary Clooney, as well as jazz and Latin music greats George Shearing, Tito Puente, and Poncho Sanchez.  

Long’s productions have achieved Gold and Platinum sales, as well as winning Grammy, Grand Prix du Disque, and Dove awards.  

Additionally, Long and his award winning team produces podcasts, audio books, radio programs, and live events.
